The Real is a section of S.i.S. that will touch on what we are feeling and what needs to change in the world for thick, voluptuous women. We are going to get down and dirty and take the gloves off concerning the media, corporations, plus much, much more. We will make our voices heard when it comes to beauty in magazines, our influence on the economy, and what's really going on in the public eye. As usual, you can send your views and comments to us via email because this site is for you...the true Diva's and power players of the world.
Send your emails to us at: themovement@sizeissexy.com (subject: The Real)
This is the debut of our section called the “The Real” and we want to make the proper introduction. We will not hold back when it comes to showing the world that we are beautiful and we will certainly not stand by and let a small fraction of the world degrade us like they have been for the longest time. Those days are done!!! Size is Sexy is a new revolution, a positive movement in getting the same recognition that the Plus size world deserves and demands. You will never come to this section and expect the nice, quiet, kill em’ with kindness that has not worked…Ever! We will go full force in getting the message across that there are a lot more size 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, and up in this world than there are size 4’s. We contribute more to the economy, the work force and the world than they ever will. It time we receive the appreciation and respect for the good we do. We want to know what you think that is why we welcome your views and comments always.
SHALLOW CELEBRITIES…LETS ADDRESS THIS!
Lets start things off by saying a few good things since we are above the people we are about to criticize. We think Kirstie Alley and Oprah are beautiful at a plus size level. It’s unfortunate they can’t see that because they are brainwashed by the media. That is the one pass we will give them, they have both been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years and that can rot your brain as far as what’s real and what’s fake. Some celebrities, not all but some think money and fame make them smarter than they really are. They think they have life figured out beyond us little people who actually see the dark side of life and have to worry about the maybe’s and what if’s life has to offer.
NOW!!! Time to get nasty!
These woman are not alone or solely to blame for this disgusting perception of their fellow human beings. Ever hear the saying “money can’t buy happiness”; they are prime examples of that quote. Let’s start with washed up, has been actress Kirstie Alley, here is her direct quote “I started screaming," Kirstie said, of stepping on the scale for the first time in 15 months. "It said 228 lbs., which is my highest weight ever. I was so much more disgusting than I thought”. Beyond the fact that this is an absolute insult to the plus size world, she feeds the negative view of anyone that isn’t a size 4. Well Kirstie Alley, you’re as shallow as a baby pool. She is wasting her life on her physical hang ups and not truly happy, hasn’t been since Cheers, just complains and cry’s all the time...one word comes to mind…PATHETIC!!! If she spent as much time and energy focusing on her career as she does telling the world why she gained weight for the 50th time and feeling sorry for herself she might still be working as an actress instead of a pathetic, sorry excuse for a person.
Oprah is not far behind when it comes to showing her dislike for the plus size world; she recently said she felt most badly about her weight when she was in Vegas with Cher and Turner, writing that she "felt like a fat cow." We have been watching her for years “struggle with her weight”. Oprah you’re a billionaire, you have lived a fantastic life and you’re still not happy because you’re a voluptuous women? Because you have curves? Stress is worse than weight; keep that in mind when your biggest fear is not show ratings but your scale in your bathroom.
One secret the celebrities have not discovered is this…just my personal feeling about life, I would rather live 1 great year than live 20 miserable ones. We are happy with our size and live exciting, confident lives without worry about a few extra pounds. What is their true goal for happiness, to be a size 2…LOL!!! GOOD LUCK!…NEWSFLASH!!! STRESS IS THE NUMBER ON KILLER!!! How many of your grandparents are overweight and still living…that’s right people, the world is not dropping dead from being plus size. You can be healthy and full figured. You must still walk, work out, and stay in shape but don’t stress your life away getting on a scale when you wake up and before you go to bed. At that rate you will stress even when you asleep and that’s not living as far as we are concerned.
Thanks for reading; we know millions of ladies feel the same way. We we’re going to address Janice Dickinson but this bottom feeder trash is too easy to make fun of. If any of you have seen clips of her show she makes herself look like a total piece of $@#! and a poster hag for the dark side of plastic surgery. Final thought for Oprah and Kirstie Alley…GET SOME CONFIDENCE.
That’s Real!
June 2009
LETS BEGIN…The media seems to control the word beautiful, it has taken it hostage in a horrible attempt to define sexy, to define beauty and make anyone who is not a size 6 or under feel as though they are worthless and will drop dead at any minute. The funny thing is, in a dark way is that they will call anyone who doesn’t conform to their view of beauty; horrible, disgusting names and attempt to crush all self esteem in a person that is “considered” overweight. They want them to feel like they are horrible, lazy people with no self worth…BUT…they consider themselves to be good people, let me say that again…they think they are good people. NEWS FLASH!!! You are ugly, horrible people! Your personality is worth nothing and you’re extremely cold and shallow. For them, life comes so easy in every way and it’s a proven fact that if you are considered beautiful in this world you have more opportunities to experience the Good Life. For the average plus size individual, these great opportunities are few and far between. We have to fight for jobs, for kindness, and for just a taste of the life they take for granted…BUT…WE ARE A BILLION TIMES STRONGER!!! Even if it doesn’t seem that way most of the time you have to remember through it all, you get out of bed every morning knowing what you’re up against and push forward for a better day and happiness. THEY WOULDN’T LAST ONE DAY IN YOUR SHOES…NOT ONE DAY!!! And that my friends, is what makes you a truly strong diva…a true lady.
Keep it Real!
